aUTumn Harvest aboard Queen Priscilla

Saturday’s aUTumn Harvest aboard the Queen Priscilla was the perfect way to end an emotional football season that started with so much hope and promise. It was great to finally unwind with lots of friends and delicious food in the “clubhouse” setting that was created aboard the classic queen. In addition to the flavorful frozen margaritas, apple cranberry stuffed pork loin and classic beef pot roast, our guests contributed to the harvest by bringing buffalo chicken dip, roasted potatoes, yeast rolls, chocolate eclair cake, apple pie, cherry yum yum, caramelized pecans, delicious chocolate candies and a very special red velvet cake to wish a blessing on our marina community!

Captain John & Jeanette joined the festivities early with a surprise docking of the Trace 1 in the adjacent slip. Drum Major Cody accompanied by Sarah, Michele, Katy, Dustin & Kristen marched through the gate with some remorse about the season’s end but with great anticipation about the adventures that lay ahead. Joe & Ashten were welcomed aboard as they took some time to relax from the hard work they do every day to try to make everyone comfortable at the marina. The celebration allowed George & Nancy, (the first residents at our marina), to get to know George & Brenda (our newest residents) and spend time with everyone else. We were so grateful that the timing of the event allowed Nick & Sara to join in the fun despite their ordinarily busy travel schedule. Captain Mike, Dale & Max certainly appeared to feel right at home swapping maritime stories and chilling with their margaritas. Cameron, Matt & Steven were finally able to enjoy the fruits of their labor after helping us restore the QP this summer. Rusty & Dez invited some welcomed members of the “infantry” to join them, including Donna, Zach & Chas. David, Vickie & Rhonda became reacquainted with some old friends and discovered some new ones too. Admiral Gregg & Rick also joined us later on in the evening following their surprise afternoon visit from Phillip & Vickie.
