After 3 long years of waiting, the Queen Priscilla just discovered that the VOL Navy Docks have finally been restored to their original configuration. The City of Knoxville and SoUThern Shores deserve a big THANK YOU for getting the job done in time for the 2014 UT Football Season. Go VOLS & Go VOL Navy! We have just received word that the City of Knoxville is working with Southern Shores to restore the VOL NAVY Docks to their original configuration hopefully before the UT home opener vs Utah State on Sunday, August 31st.
The TWRA has alerted us however that the docks will be CLOSED ALL DAY on Saturday, August 30th prior to the Boomsday fireworks display, so please plan accordingly.
The Billy Lush Board Shop is partnering with Tennessee Boat Rest to transport paddle boards to the “Sand Bar” located just across from Duncan’s Boat Dock on the Tennessee River.
