Join us at a Special Reception for 3-Star Vice Admiral Harry B. Harris, Jr. (U.S. Navy) to be held Friday, September 4th at 4:30 pm at the VOL Navy Docks. Vice Admiral Harris is the deputy chief of Naval Operations for Communication Networks (OPNAV N6) and the Deputy Department of the Navy Chief Information Officer (Navy).

This reception, just one very big part of Knoxville Navy Week, will be hosted aboard the "KokOasis", "All Inn" (and perhaps another houseboat, or two) and will mark the first time the U.S. Navy and the VOL Navy have ever been formally introduced.

At the conclusion of a 1-hour river cruise aboard the "Trace 1" sightseeing water taxi, the Admiral and his party will arrive the VOL Navy docks (4:30 pm), where they will join invited guests for refreshments.
